Rotating call interfaces
The Octalarm alarm dialler automatically rotates through its interfaces when calling out. This is to ensure that the alarm dialler checks that all interfaces are still working.
For example, after start-up, the dialler starts calling out via GSM in the event of an alarm. After this call has been made, the dialler automatically changes the sequence and will make the call with a different communication interface at the next alarm.
Note: when an interface does not work correctly, the dialler sends out a system failure. ALWAYS take action in this case. See Alarms|System failures|Internal failures for more information on these system failures.
