How do I replace the battery?

The Octalarm alarm dialler includes a rechargeable LiFePO4 battery (LFR18650-2S | 6.4V/1500mAh | 9.6Wh) with a service life of three years. The dialler notifies you when you need to replace the battery. You can replace the battery yourself by following the steps below.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Slide the housing cover upwards until you hear a click.
2. Detach the Velcro battery holder (1) and the battery connector (2), then remove the old battery.
3. Place the new battery on the battery surface and secure it firmly using the Velcro (1).
4. Reconnect the connector (2).

Note: Using an incorrect battery type may damage the device or the battery.
