Touch IP65

Octalarm alarm diallers have an IP42 protection rating. You can install the dialler in a clean room where there is minimal risk of heavy contamination or splashing water. For less clean environments and locations where splashing water may occur, Adésys supplies a sealed cabinet with an IP65 protection rating: the Touch IP65.

Mounting the alarm dialler in the IP65 cabinet

Adésys has modified the standard IP65 cabinet by adding a mounting rail, a cover plate, and the required screws. This allows you to install the alarm dialler quickly and easily by following seven steps:

1. Open the cabinet and unscrew the three screws securing the cover plate.
2. Remove the black cover plate by carefully pressing the clips and pulling the plate forward.
3. Remove the two bottom screws (when the Adésys logo is at the top right of the cabinet).
4. Align the Octalarm alarm dialler (not included) so the recesses on the back fit over the top screws, then slide it into place.
5. Open the dialler’s cover and reinsert the two screws removed in step 3.
6. Connect all required cables, using the available notches in the IP65 cabinet as needed.
7. Replace the cover plate and tighten the three screws.
