Ethernet eth1

You can configure a static IP address by specifying the required IP address, default gateway, DNS servers, and the availability of the web interface. For more information about these settings, see: Settings | Ethernet eth0: Right-hand side: IP settings (for use with a fixed IP address) and Settings | Ethernet eth0: Web interface.

Right-hand side: Advanced

Duplex and speed

For further details, see Settings | Ethernet eth0: duplex & speed.

Static routes

You can set up static routes via the eth1 network to enable communication between two closed networks. For example, you can grant access to a management PC at the head office.

  • Click Add.
  • Enter the Static IP address and Prefix.
  • Enter the Gateway.
  • Click Add.

Note: You can only configure one default gateway in total. If you set a default gateway for eth1, you must configure a manual IP address without a default gateway for eth0 (or the other way around).
