By default, IP is set *automatically (DHCP)**. When you connect an Ethernet cable, the alarm dialler automatically receives an IP address. This IP address allows you to set up your dialler remotely on the local network. For more information, see Remote setup (local).

Good to know: You can only view the Ethernet settings via Remote setup. To change these settings, use the dialler directly.

Note: We strongly recommend setting a fixed IP address if your corporate network uses a firewall.

  • Go to Settingsand scroll to Interfaces.
  • Select Ethernet eth0.
  • Click Edit and adjust the fields as required.
  • Click Save.

Tip: To maintain redundancy, we strongly recommend leaving the component enabled.
