Should I replace the battery immediately when I see the message Maximum battery age reached?

When you see this message, the alarm's battery needs to be replaced. Replace the battery as soon as possible to prevent the system from failing during power outages.

Good to know: The rechargeable LiFePO4 battery (LFR18650-2S | 6.4V/1500mAh | 9.6WH) supplied with the alarm dialler has a service life of 3 years. The dialler displays the message Maximum battery age reached when the battery needs to be replaced. After you acknowledge this alarm, the system will remind you after 30 days if the battery is not replaced.

Note: Only use the official battery supplied by Adésys for the Octalarm alarm diallers (A-Batt-6.4V). This battery is fully approved and contains a chip to communicate its status with the system. Order the battery from your installer.
