Why do you receive the message ..., multiple call attempts failed?

icon comments

You see this message when the system registers six or more failed calls via a single communication interface (such as mobile telephony, VoIP, or landline). This alarm helps you monitor all dial-out capabilities.

Good to know:

  1. The system counts an unaccepted or incorrectly accepted alarm as a failed call attempt.

  2. Voicemail can also cause failed attempts. If no one accepts the alarm call in time, the call goes to voicemail, and this is logged as a failed attempt.

Solution

The system resets the failure counter to zero only after a successful call over the same communication interface.
