How do I disable alerting for a contact (temporarily)?
![]()
You can temporarily stop the system from sending alerts to a contact in two ways, depending on whether you plan the absence in advance.
Planned in advance (for example, holiday)
You can easily schedule a holiday in advance in the duty schedule. To do so, create an additional (temporary) duty on top of the existing duty.
See 2.3 Two weekly schedules | weekly change of call sequence | planned holiday for more information.
Unexpected (for example, illness or an emergency)
If someone is ill or there is an emergency, you can set a contact to Absent via the Contacts menu.
See Contacts | Marking contacts as absent for more information.
