Why don't you see the firmware update?

You may not see the latest firmware update if:
- your alarm dialler is not connected to the internet;
- the web portal is disabled;
- a firewall in your company network blocks the update.
Possible solutions
1. Check the internet connection
- On the dialler’s dashboard, verify that either the GSM or Ethernet connection is active. See Dashboard: Logged in for further explanation.
- If both connections are inactive, the dialler does not have internet access.
- Activate at least one of the connections. For more information, see Settings | Interfaces | GSM: Explanation of input fields and Settings | Interfaces | Ethernet eth0: Explanation of input fields.
2. Enable the web portal
- Enable the web portal. For instructions, see Settings | Interfaces | Web portal: Enabling or disabling the web portal.
3. Adjust the firewall settings
- If a firewall blocks required connections, adjust the firewall to allow communication. See Firewall company network: Incoming firewall for guidance.
