Limits
The supplementary licence Octalarm Link1 is suitable for the Touch Pro and is included as standard in ARA-Pro Next. Both alarm diallers have two Ethernet ports: eth0 and eth1.
Good to know: both ports can communicate with the REST API interface.
Note: there are limits on the maximum number of interfaces, locations and categories.
8 REST API interfaces with 16 global locations and 128 global categories with a total of up to 100 unique alarms.
1. You can add the 16 locations to just one REST API interface or distribute them across all REST API interfaces. The same goes for the categories.
2. You can add the maximum of 128 categories to one location or distribute them across multiple locations.
3. There is a limit of 100 unique alarms that can be active at the same time. If more alarms are active, the dialler sends a HTTP ERROR 400 in response.
