How do I know if a new firmware version is available?

Whether your dialler is up-to-date can be found under Settings|Software update. You will also find what has changed in which version by looking here in the release notes, under version history.

Tip: make sure the dialler is connected to the internet and the web portal is enabled.

This way, you will always have the up-to-date firmware version. Once the message New software available appears on the alarm dialler display, you can perform the update yourself. The update process is safe and takes about 15 seconds, so the alarm is not interrupted for long.

You can also do a forced search for a possible update.
