What is the difference in remote setup via portal and via IP address?
Via Octalarm portal (portal.octalarm.com)
You access the dialler through the Octalarm Portal website. This gives you global access, so you can set up your dialler from anywhere with an internet connection.
Via the dialler’s IP address
You enter the dialler’s IP address in a web browser on a device that is connected to the same local network. This gives you local access only, so you can only set up diallers that are reachable within that network.
