The dialler uses the location name as the introductory text for alarm messages. In addition, the portal registers the linked diallers under this name in the company account. So choose a location name that lets you recognise immediately which location it is about.

Tip: a clear location name promotes fast and safe alarm processing.

The device name is the name of the 8 local input alarms and system failures.

Customise location and device name

  • Go to Settings.
  • In the navigation, scroll to Location name.
  • Click Edit. Screenshot Location name
  • Click the location name.
  • Change the name and click Done.
  • Click the device name.
  • Change the name and click Done.
  • Click Save.

Tip: using the playback button (play icon), you can hear how the text sounds when there is an alarm.
