Settings icon system icon location icon Location name

The dialler uses the location name as the introduction for alarm messages. The portal also registers the dialler under this name in your company account. Choose a location name that allows you to identify the site immediately.

Tip: A clear location name helps you process alarms quickly and safely.

The device name identifies the set of 8 local input alarms and system failures.

Customising the location and device name

  • Open Settings.
  • Select Location name in the navigation menu.
  • Click Edit.
  • Enter the new location name and confirm with the tick.
  • Enter the new device name and confirm with the tick.
  • Click Save.

Tip: Use the playback button (play icon) to listen to how the text will sound during an alarm.
