To install ARA-Pro Next smoothly, you as installer and end user can make preparations BEFORE our engineer arrives.

Explanation per step
1. Copy database ARA-Pro 5: needed for migration to ARA-Pro Next
Applies only for customers wishing to migrate from ARA-Pro 5 to ARA-Pro Next.
If you want to migrate from ARA-Pro 5 to ARA-Pro Next, Adésys would like to receive a copy of the ARA-Pro 5 database in advance. You can send these to marcel@adesys.nl. The migration from old to new takes place before implementation day.
How to create the database copy in ARA-Pro 5
- Copy all the SEPERATE files that are in c:\ara\data to a zip file.
Note: do NOT copy all the backup folders and the temp folder that are also in c:\ara\data.
- Forward Zip to marcel@adesys.nl.
2. Climate computer with ARA licence (for linking to ARA-Pro Next)
The installer or end client can purchase such a licence from the climate computer manufacturer. This licence must be activated before implementation.
3. Preparing duty schedule
As the end client, ensure that, prior to commissioning, the following data is available:
- all contact details, such as Email addresses and telephone numbers, of service/repair technicians, operators and/or administrators, etc.;
- overview of which colleague is on duty and when (existing duty schedule/staff planning of the various breakdown services).
4. Preparing Dupline hardware
Only applies to clients who will (re)use Dupline.
For reusing or newly installing Dupline modules, we request that you assess which hardware you need in consultation with Adésys.
5. Network preparation
A minimum of 1 fixed IP address is required for ARA-Pro Next. When using a technical network in which the climate computer also operates, 2 fixed IP addresses are required. As the end client, make sure these fixed IP addresses are arranged on installation day.
6. Is the client opting for Octalarm Connect XL
Yes or No?
Yes: activation of the service takes place on installation day.
No: as an end client, ensure that on installation day, your own SIM card with a subscription equipped with call minutes and data bundle is arranged.
7. Is the client opting for Octalarm Connect VoIP only XL
Should the end client use their own SIM card but want to add a VoIP phone as a second phone line, the customer can choose Octalarm Connect VoIP only XL.
Yes: activation of VoIP only takes place on installation day.
No: end client opts for their own VoIP connection. As the end client, make sure this is taken care of on the day of installation.
8. Presence of the administrator/operator
On the day of commissioning, Adésys provides explanation and training. The end client's administrator/operator must be present throughout the day for this.
