Why is Calling via 4G (VoLTE) disabled under GSM?

In many cases, the option Calling via 4G appears disabled for the following reasons:

If you use Octalarm Connect with the supplied SIM card, VoLTE (calling via 4G) is only supported by KPN from the end of October 2024. Therefore, this option is often still disabled.
If you use your own SIM card, check whether your telecom provider and subscription support VoLTE. The availability depends on your provider and the terms of your subscription.

Good to know: You must enable Calling via 4G to make calls via VoLTE.
