Web portal
Good to know: You can only view the web portal settings via
Remote setup
. You must use the dialler to create or edit these settings.
The web portal is enabled by default. This enables you to:
- use the Adésys Alarm App;
- use remote setup for your diallers worldwide;
- receive software updates.
Note: If you disable the web portal, you may not receive the latest software updates and the alarm dialler may be restricted. You will also be unable to use the Octalarm Connect SIP/VoIP and SMTP/Email connections.
Enabling or disabling the web portal
- Go to
Settings
and scroll toInterfaces
. - Select
Web portal
. - Click
Edit
. - Switch
Component activated
on or off. - Click
Save
.
Good to know: In earlier software versions, it could take 20 to 30 minutes to establish a connection to the portal, for example if the detector had been switched off for a while. In such cases, wait half an hour before restarting the detector. This has been improved in version 2.6.0. Always use the latest software version.
