Pronunciation abbreviations

You can define how the dialler pronounces specific words. This feature helps the dialler pronounce abbreviations or words that are otherwise mispronounced.

Adding a pronunciation

• Open Settings.
• Select Pronunciation in the navigation menu.
• Click Edit, then click Add.
• For Text, enter the word as it appears (e.g. Adesys) and confirm by clicking the tick.
• For Pronunciation, enter the phonetic spelling (e.g. Adeesis) and confirm by clicking the tick. To listen to a sample, press the speaker button ().
• Click Add to save the entry.

Editing a pronunciation

• Open Settings.
• Select Pronunciation in the navigation menu.
• Click the pen icon () next to the word you wish to edit.
• Make the necessary changes and confirm by clicking the tick.
• Click Edit.

Deleting a pronunciation

• Open Settings.
• Select Pronunciation in the navigation menu.
• Click the bin icon () next to the word you wish to delete.
