Language: speech and keyboard
During onboarding (initial settings), you set the language for voice messages and the time zone. You can change these settings later via Settings
| Appearance
| Language
. In this menu, you can also select a voice for alarm texts, set the keyboard layout, and specify your own NTP server.
Good to know:
- The language you select determines the language the dialler uses for alarm handling. When you change the language, the dialler speaks the texts in the new language.
- The available voices differ per language. If the current voice is unclear, you can select a different one.
- If your network restricts internet traffic and a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server is available locally, you can use your own NTP server.
- When you change the time zone, Disable temporarily and the log automatically updates to the new time zone.
Note: Changing the language does not automatically update alarm texts. To customise alarm texts, see Alarms | Configuring inputs. You can also test how alarm texts sound in the selected language.
- Open
Settings
. - Select

in the navigation menu. - Press
Edit
and adjust the fields as needed. - Click
