How do I perform a controlled shut down?

To switch off the alarm dialler in a controlled manner, follow the steps described on the Controlled shutdown page.

Note: Switching off the alarm dialler stops the entire alarm procedure. Only switch off the device when you are preparing it for transport, sending it for service, or permanently stopping its operation.
